Edinburgh College of Art - Photography

I recently got offered a place in Edinburgh College of Art for second year Photography. While I am delighted about receiving an offer I am in two minds. Currently I study in Aberdeen and have also been accepted to study further there to.
I was wondering can anyone give me any info about Edinburgh? the College and the course? Is it film or digital?
Also what is best - student accommodation or flat?
Any information is welcome thanks!
