Question from an American Applying Through UCAS

Hi, I'm an American student applying to university in the UK through UCAS. I have a question about the personal details section and how to go about completing it. There is a section where you are asked to fill in your first date of entry to the UK, and when reading the help section it seemed to suggest that it is for people who were born outside the UK but now reside there. What should I fill in considering I do not and never have lived in the UK?

They are asking because this might have an impact on your fee status - not because they assume that you have lived here or because you should be living here.

If the 'system' isn't giving you the option of ignoring this question, it sounds like you have answered some other question in a way that makes it think you have been to the UK (Residential Category?). If you can't find a way out of this, phone UCAS for advice : +44 330 3330 230
