University Hall Cardiff accommodation

Hi guys,

I have been offered a place to stay at university halls and I was just wondering what you guys thought of it? It seems a very long way from the city centre and a long way from the main subject buildings so could anyone tell me how long a walk it is from there to the cluster of subject buildings?

Also, anyone here staying there this year? I'm in flat 5 I think :wink:

I'm staying at University Hall! In Dwyfor. :smile:

It is a long way from the campus, but I'm pretty sure there's a free bus you can use.

University Hall comprises of many separate blocks, so really it depends on which one you're in! It's a 30 minute walk from the main university buildings, but there is a free bus that runs every hour from Monday - Friday (upto every 30 minutes near the end of the day). This runs to Aberconway, the SU, the Engineering Building and to exam venues during the exam period, which is very useful :smile:

Hey, I'm in Dwyfor aswell.. Flat 2! Yeah I wanted to be closer and my first choices were Taly, but I think Uni halls should be fine seeing as there's a free bus. Just hoping I have social flatmates :biggrin:

I'm sure we'll find social people no matter where we go, though! And if not, University Hall is massive so there's bound to be at least a couple :wink:

That was my first choice aswell, yeah haha I can't wait to go out in Cardiff! Although I am slightly worried I'll go out too much and fail my Law degree :tongue:
