International Relations and African studies at SOAS : Worth it ?

Hello everyone !

I am a French student and I got an offer for a combinded degree in international relations and African studies at SOAS. I've also applied to a same kind of degree but in INALCO in Paris which is the french equivalent of SOAS.

I don't know what to choose, SOAS has better equipment, a good teacher-students ratio but is very expensive. In France, I'll only have to pay 189 euros for the whole year. I want to be a french diplomat and in France you need to pass a competitive exam and I feel like it makes more sense to prepare it in a French university. Also, it seems like SOAS doesn't really have a good reputation inside and outside UK while the INALCO is regcognised in the french diplomatic world. However, I went to an open day and I fell in love with SOAS. My brain says INALCO but my heart beats for SOAS. But is SOAS worth the money ?
