Well like the title says, I'm albino. Black albino(Is that the correct term?)

just looked up the term, and realised I saw an albino (with white hair) walking past me while I was waiting to sit my exam. How are albinos perceived where you live?

I live in Africa currently but I'll be moving to the UK in September.

Well, in some parts of the continent, Tanzania for example, albinos are eaten or hunted. People there believe that they have magical powers or something like that :frown:

But luckily in my country it's much better. Albinos still get stared at or mocked but it's not as bad as other places.

Yes I am! I'm Nigerian :smile:

I have been sadly :frown:

I was bullied a lot in primary school.
And people stare and make strange comments when I'm out in public.

It's a bit better now though. My hair has darkened naturally over the years so people just think I'm mixed race or something like that.

Yes it is

skin isn't very sensitive. I can still go out in the sun but I can't tan.
I love Diandra Forrest ! :smile:

You look mixed race. I would never guess albino, but maybe it's because the pic is too small. You can post it here if you want. But from the pp u don't look albino in the slightest.
