Grad Scheme or Internship - best route? Is my background enough too.

Help needed.

Is it best to apply for a grad scheme or summer internship? I understand many are recruited from internship intakes so would you say it is better to apply for them?

Also, I graduated in 2012 with a law degree from a RG and in between travelling I have worked for Deutsche and RBC (non-IB roles) and now ops in a hedge fund.

Is this 'financial services experience' enough to put me on an internship as opposed to direct IB experience?

If you want to get on a grad scheme you may want to apply for a grad scheme. If you want a summer internship, maybe you want to apply to that.
A RG degree may be enough if you went to a good RG and non-IB roles may be good enough.
