EPQ help & suggestions
I have a few questions about EPQ. I am hopefully going to be applying for medicine in the autumn term.
A) how useful is an EPQ for my application?
B) i want to do something medically related to show my interest in the topic. I would also like to focus on something specifically to do with foetal development/obstetrics because i find this area extremely interesting.
Some ideas:
1: linking the stages of foetal development with the ethical question of 'at what point does a foetus become human/have a right to life' linking this to laws to do with abortion
2. The effects of substance misuse during pregnancy on the foetus and newborn child as well as any implications it may have on the success of the birth itself.
Can anyone give me any other ideas please? Thank you!
