Best way to search for a funded PhD

I'm going into my final year of studying maths (Bsc), and wanted to do research in some sort of applied maths.

Are there any good websites that anyone would recommend to help me search for programmes?

The findaphd.com website would be a good place to start. Not every funded PhD ends up there, but I reckon most of them do.
Also jobs.ac.uk (right at the bottom of the initail page is the section for Masters and PhD studentships)

And ..... Postgrad Funding Opportunities at the top of this board.

PS. You stand a better chance of getting funding for a PhD with an MSc or some Research Assistant experience. Not essential, but for competitive funding it could make the difference.

Your uni's postgrad web pages might have some funding information - also look at the Uk Research Councils' web sites.
