Hey Guys,

I applied for one of the MRes Chemistry courses. My final reference went through November 21st, and was invited to interview on November 30th. On the 8th of December I was informally emailed by the department informing that I have been offered a place, and that in the next 2-3 weeks would receive confirmation from the Student E-service of the official conditions of my offer.

3 weeks has since passed and I haven't heard anything. I know it is the holidays, and perhaps their staff have not yet returned to work. Is there anyone else in the same boat? Or has any one been given an official offer with conditions above the advertised course requirement? (eg: Online it says that you require a 2.1, but the offer given has requested a 1st)

Hi there..

It's kinda strange you haven't received a final offer yet. I think you should contact the admission office directly, they will provide better information on this scenario.

Regards.

This is very insightful. Thanks.
They (ICL) aren't very clear on the GRE requirement.
I have dabbled in some Comouter science but not enough to go for the advance course, so I'm choosing the conversion.

Hopefully, I can get in, and we can revive your Finnish language skills

Why did you choose Imperial over your almamater Warwick for the masters in Computing when Warwick also offer something similar?

Ah, that makes sense.

Haha, sounds good to me!

There are lots of things I like about Warwick but also some things I don't like, and I didn't really want to stick around after all my friends leave this year. Plus I am particularly interested in pursuing studies in AI, something that is covered better at other universities (to my knowledge, anyway).
Email just came through - I've been given an offer for the specialist MSc in Computing Science (Machine Learning) without interview! Yay =D

Has anyone received an offer or rejection from the Business School? If yes, which Masters programme?

Got an offer for MSc Management.

I originally applied to MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management though, but apparently the admissions committee thought I would be more suitable for the MSc Management program and offered that instead.

Awesome, possibly see you there then  .

How long does it usually take for registry to send out the official offer? I received my offer via email a week ago today, and e-service has just updated to "Current StatusApplication received and currently being processed.". So it's changed, but that doesn't show I have an offer lol.

Congrats! I applied to this last week. Did you have to wait long? I thought there's an interview for this course - your background must be strong.

I think all in all about a month and a half, but that was before the holidays, so things might have slowed down a bit.

Best of luck!
