Media Communications Course

Is the media course majority about journalism? As I want to study media and I am worried that the course doesn't contain much.
Also what does the media communications course include, like what is the module?

My name is Tia and I study BA (Hons) Communication and Media at Bournemouth University. I would recommend looking on our course page at the units section which gives a detailed explanation of each unit ( https://www.bournemouth.ac.uk/study/courses/ba-hons-communication-media). Our degree is very broad and you'll get to study a bit of everything from advertising, marketing and PR to media, crisis and conflict, creative writing, and media, messages and meanings. There are units with a journalism focus and you can select units that have this focus more than others however there is such a variety that if this isn't what you're interested in it doesn't matter, there will be units that fit your interests.
