!!!!!?????? Uni of Bristol MA in Philosophy
Hi there, I'm an international (non-EU) student. I got a partial scholarship for the MA in Philosophy in Bristol. My aim is to later secure funding for a PhD and hopefully lecture at a university. I'm still conflicted on going as it is still a huge investment and risk for me at the moment.
1. How realistic is PhD funding (with allowance) in philosophy for international students in the UK, would I need to move elsewhere for my PhD?
2. I know it's too far into the future but do UK universities even hire internationals as lecturers?
3. What universities are best when thinking about funding for Philosophy PhDs for internationals, I'm obviously aiming for the best like Oxford, LSE, etc. but open to other suggestions.
