what you want to do after you graduate (if you want to go into investment banking or management consulting it makes a difference which of the two you go to; for most other things, not so much), cost of living (both are expensive cities - if you already live in London though and can commute from home there that might save you money, but bear in mind you'd have a reduced maintenance loan then and it might have effects on your social life)
•
academic opportunities/quality at the uni (probably similar on the whole but I get the impression Bristol is generally considered slightly better, but I think the difference between Bristol and UCL is smaller than say, Warwick and Bristol)
•
facilities/accommodation/etc options at each (if you can't live without the uni having X sports team or something to play on, that could be a deal breaker for you!)
