Applying to university in the UK as an American
I am 16 years old in America with one more year of high school. I am interested in applying to a university in the UK and am trying to figure out where to start. I would want to major in film/arts/music. I know those are all different majors but somewhere in the creative field. Any advice on where to start with this process would be greatly appreciated.
UCAS is the place u can sign up for university in the U.K.
Definitely have a good look at the uk system in terms of degrees, we don’t have the major/minor system. You just have a degree but you can have joint degree in things if the uni has a course for it (you can’t just ask to do two subjects).
As an international just have a look at things like tuition fees because for internationals they can be steep and support packages aren’t very generous in uk generally.
