GCSE English speaking, Pass

I just got my GCSE english speaking exam grade back and I got a Pass, does this restrict me from anything important or is a pass all i need. I am very worried please someone answer
It doesn't restrict you as long as you have 5 GCSE's with grades 4/C+. Gcse are really only for College/6 Form.

Really? So it makes no difference in my life if I would get a pass, merit or distinction (i am not looking to take anything english) I am also very confident I will get over 5 GCSEs

Thats correct. A Levels are more important and determine your university/apprenticeship for percific types of careers. GCSE only give you a base level understanding. But it won't hurt to try and do your best in every subject.
