Is I-MEADIA, or media studies count as a level for so all unis? because my family said no as it not well respected. im picking bi, chem and media. planning to go to pharmacy or bio med.

If it follows a set A Level syllabus laid out by an independent recognised exam board (e.g. AQA, EdExcel, OCR, OxfordAQA, Cambridge OCR), then it's a recognised A Level.

Media studies is not an academic A Level, so it won't likely be respected by the more prestigious universities. If you intend to apply for a competitive course in biomed or pharmacy, then I recommend picking something else just in case. There's no harm if you did it as a 4th A Level as far as I know, but I wouldn't hold my breath if you chose it as your third.

Academic A Levels can include the more "traditional" subjects like maths, physics, computer science, politics, history, geography, English lit, any language.
