Can I include Halloween costumes in my costume portfolio?

I want to do a costume design course for uni and I'm confused on the requirements of the portfolios. I'm planning on making my own Halloween costume this year, but I wanna know if I can include it in my portfolio since it isn't my original design? I'm guessing the answer is no but i wanna just wanna make sure. Thanks 🤠

If it is your own design that's unique I'm pretty sure it would be allowed.
But if it's copied from somebody else's design then it may not be allowed.

Yes but think about approaching it as a live brief. Put together what you’re hoping to achieve, make sketches of ideas and how you’re developing them as well as your final design and progress on producing your costume.
