What if I don’t meet the grade requirement for my job offer?

Hi, I currently have a job offer (starting date October 2023) and they require a 2:1. Though I think I might be able to achieve that, I’ve currently been having some personal issues which is affecting my studies. I just wanna ask anyone who has ever gotten a job offer with a 2:1 requirement but got a lower mark and was able to keep the offer - either by negotiating with the employer or something.

Little pecker

98% chance you won’t get the job, the 2% is if the hiring manager goes out of their way to tell HR to circumvent due process.
