Seeking Guidance for Data Science Application to UCL and LSE

Hi everyone!

I'm currently on a gap year, and I'm excited to apply for data science programs at UCL and LSE this September. In my A-levels, I took biology, chemistry, and maths, and I achieved A*A*A* in 2022. During my gap year, I've been working as a Team Administrator in the NHS and volunteering at an IT company as an assistant to a data analyst to gain valuable experience in the field.

Initially, I had an interest in biochemistry, but over the last year, I discovered my true passion lies in statistics and computing. Now, I'm eager to pursue data science at these prestigious universities.

I would be extremely grateful if any of you could offer guidance on how to make my application stronger for UCL and LSE. What extracurricular activities or experiences would make me stand out? What are the universities looking for in a data science applicant?
