Emailing an old teacher my A Level Results

I want to email my old English teacher from secondary with my A Level results. I'm not sure how much longer my college will keep my email so don't really want to use that account, but not sure if it's okay for me to email her. I figure that because I'm 18 that it's not really a safeguarding issue and that she should be able to reply to me.

I would say it's absolutely fine. You can always start the email with "hope you don't mind me contacting you".
