do waitlisted applications change back to "under consideration" when sent back to the selectors? in my eighth week since being waitlisted, status is still "waitlisted"

It does change to under consideration.

MSc Econ 2 year
Hey, How long do you normally have to wait after receiving the 'Recommended Offer' email for the official offer letter? And is there any chance I could be waitlisted after receiving this email or is it a guaranteed offer?
anyone received any MSc econ offers this week?
I received an offer today for Environmental Policy and Regulation.

ID received: 30 December
Rejected for first choice and waitlisted for second choice: 19 January
Document flipped to received for second choice: 24 March
Offer received: 26 March

Please did anyone apply for the 1+3 ESCR pathway and have they heard back?

Hi!
I am an international postgrad applicant for LSE. My decision on first choice(department of methodology which is different to that of second choice)at LSE is unsuccessful at Feb 21. Now currently waiting for my second choice course(department of statistics)and my status got updated to “Application underconsideration” on the same day.
Can I know when LSE will give decision for 2nd choice (like approx. number of weeks after getting decision for first choice course) as per your past experience, any known friends at LSE who faced similar situation? It would be great if anyone could clarify these doubts.Thank you in advance

Hello, All through my waiting period for a decision on my second choice, my portal showed "waitlist" it never changed back to "under consideration". I waited for about 10/11 weeks before getting a decision. So, I think you will have to wait at least 8 weeks (I have read that some people got their decision in less than 8weeks though, it all depends tbh)

My first choice in MsC International Relations got rejected yesterday with the caveat that the selectors think I am a better fit for the MsC in History of International Relations instead. Do you have a better chance of getting accepted if the selectors indicate you for a specific program? I also still have a second choice program awaiting a decision so I am a little confused about which program takes precedence for consideration? I applied in early March so I also know a lot of spots have already been filled......

Hi! Is there any group chat for the 2 year MSc Economics offer holders?
Hi!
I am pleased to share happy news!!! I got into LSE for MSc Data Science.
I had also got offer from Kings College London for the same course. Course content of MSc Data Science at LSE is more statistics oriented whereas at KCL it is more computer science oriented.

I have a background in computer science(data science specialised) at undergrad level and 3 internship experience as data scientist at tech Companies.

I am concerned about employment/graduate opportunities right after graduation mainly in tech sectors or fintech industries.

Is LSE good for data science course as compared to kings (employment aspects)? As it belongs to department of statistics.

Which unis among these two will suit the best as per employability, bagging internship offers (data scientist entry roles) ?

Hi all buddies. I applied in Ma Politics and communication but rejected then i applied for a second choice program in Media and communication governance. I just saw my portal and my documents flipped.in first choice case my documents didn't flip and they simply rejected my offer. Documents flipped means that i got admission?
