No one to move with for second year.

I'm really worried that I won't have anyone to move into a house or flat with for second year. One of my flatmate studies at a different campus, a mile from mine, so she's moving in with people on her course and my other flatmates are boys, who are moving in with their own friends. My friends who are on the same campus as me have already organised their housing and didn't tell me until I asked. I have no one to move in with and I'm concerned I'll be isolated from them next year if I move into a studio flat, which seems like my only option at the moment. If someone could give me some advice I would be grateful.

Hi there,
You're not alone in feeling this way. For example, I didn't make friends that I wanted to live with until late into my first year and even then, I ended up taking a leap of faith and booking a room in shared student accommodation which was a great decision. Some people find their future housemates sooner than others, so don't worry if you haven't clicked with anyone yet. Keep putting yourself out there, socialising and explore your options for accommodation in your second year.
Hope this helps!
