confusion regarding citation

I just have one doubt. since I have never done academic writing I am not much familiar with citations and references.
The recent essay I submitted in which I wrote around 2 paragraphs continuously from 1 resource online
I cited it at the end of paragraph 2 and properly referenced at the end of the essay. Is there be problem? I referenced at the end of paragraph 2 and not at paragraph 1.
If it would be a problem, please give me guidance that I should resubmit or not. if it is not serious I will avoid resubmitting it.
