Would it be beneficial to my application for apprenticeships if I did an EPQ?

I am considering applying for apprenticeships next year instead of going to universities, and am considering whether it would be worth doing an EPQ to help enhance my application.

The thing with school, A levels, and university, is that the standard qualifications don’t really help an interviewer distinguish between applicants. Of course there are grades, but for apprenticeships, the assessor would like to delve further.

An EPQ would give you something unique to highlight in your applications, cv’s, and interviews. It may help you better evidence your unique passions, academic skills, and soft skills.

No as once you meet the minimum requirements they are generally not interested. These are typically BCC-AAB. You are much better off finding relevant work experience that you can use within interview answers
