But you should thoroughly prepare the same way you would for any interview. Talk about your background, what makes you suitable for a PhD, your knowledge and expertise in the field, why your research questions are important, the feasibility of your research….
Ultimately they are making an investment so you’re trying to show youll be a good use of the money (and be a productive researcher). They are also aware the fact most candidates haven’t been in professional research positions before.
