A-Level ICT Unit 9 - Networking exam help

Hey guys, was wandering if you could help me on one of the questions in this exam, its a 3 week long 10 hour exam which we are about half way through now, its going well, but theres one question that i dont understand which is worth alot of marks.

the question is basically...

"Justify 2 ways in which to connect a laptop to the companies virtual network whilst on sales trips and say which is the most suitable."

Im not sure wether it means 2 types of public networks, or 2 types of wireless devices to connect the laptop to, or 2 types of software to use on the laptop.

Any help would be very much appreciated, and i would be happy to help anyone else who is struggling with parts of this exam.
