I've only been to an interview at Westminster for their Film and TV Production course but you might find it similar to what you're looking into.

Basically, unless it states on the interview letter that formal dress code is required, I would stick to smart casual (ie. shirt and smart jeans/trousers for guys or smart trousers/skirt with a neat top for girls)

I was asked to bring a portfolio of any relevant work I had; so if you're required to do the same make sure you include a variety of work spreading over a wide range of mediums (ie. video work, deconstructive essays, screenplays, storyboards, photographs, artwork)

As for the formality of the interview, unless otherwise stated on the letter, it could be in numerous forms; group interview, informal interview, or more formal interrogation. Westminster was a one on one interview with one of the tutors, but there were three occurring in the same room at the same time so it was less stressful.

Question wise - they could ask anything. Make sure you re-read your personal statement and try to deduce any questions they could draw from that. For instance, if you mentioned any relevant work experience make sure you're ready to talk about it in detail: where it was? Duration? What you did? What you drew from it? etc.

I was asked questions such as:
- Can you tell me a little about the last film you saw at the cinema? Your opinion of it and what you thought worked well/ didn't work well?

-What area of film would you like to specialise in and why?

-What original ideas have you had recently?

And a few more basic ones about my personal statement.

Another person I met at the interview said she was given a photograph and asked to come up with a story for it. So I guess it just varies on who you're being interviewed by/the course etc.

Honestly though, it's not going to be anywhere near as scary as you think it's going to be! I was afraid that everyone else being interviewed would be so much better prepared and way more experienced that me, but it turned out we were all pretty much equal. If you've got as far as getting an interview, they probably love you already and just want to check you're a real human being. :P

Sorry it was so long and that a lot of it may not be relevant to exactly what you're doing, but I also hope you can feel slightly more at ease about it.

Oh, and GOOD LUCK!

:]
