    The Official LSE Accommodation Thread
    Hey guys,

I just received an offer from the LSE and was wondering which is the best halls to stay in or is it better to go intercollegiate (have heard College is quite good)?

I would like a good location of halls (near the clubs) but dont mind walking to LSE either. Also rooms with an en suite and a sociable crowd

    Thanks

I say we make this the official LSE accommodation discussion thread

I've heard Roseberry is near the clubs, but Bankside is closest to Ministry of Sound?

    I'm thinking Banksire/Roseberry...any opinions?

Roseberry has the rep of the 'partying hall' aswell but it's a rather silly rep considering that the social side of each hall is entirely dependent on the intake each year, theres only so much you can do if you're hall is made up of Chinese economics students who don't like to see the sun

Roseberry and I believe Bankside (might be wrong?) also have their own student bars which is always good for socialising.
    LOL, hope not

Yeah, that's the attraction I guess. Only bad thing about Bankside is it's 40 weeks and I'm probably gonna come home during the holidays. Advantage is I won't have to move my stuff though!

High Holborn looks quite good but it's well expensive! Really close to LSE though...

Have no idea what to choose. Only priorities are not sharing a toilet with 10 others and good social life. Hopefully these arent mutually exclusive.

S'what I've heard too, but you'd make so many mates from other London unis which would be wicked!

Accommodation toiletwise, @ Bankside, the worst you'd get would be sharing with one other person which is pretty good. I've heard Roseberry is most social but it depends on the people each year!

Between 90-160. Cheapest is sharing a twin, but I don't think I could bare that. So £110+. Be on the website for the different halls.

I really want to go and have a look at some of the accommodation...I've got a couple of mates there I might go and have a look so I can apply early..

Does anyone know, if you apply early, is there a greater likelikood of getting your first choice?
