Withdrawing from exam
my friend's sat C1/C2/C3/C4/S1 but he's sitting M1 next week and now wants to drop A2 Maths and only wants the AS (he got A in that and would like to keep it as he doesnt think he'll get an A in A-Level overall)
so can he drop it? does anyone know if you can withdraw from being certified at this stage or even later?

If he's done all but one module of A2 Maths it seems pointless in him dropping it, even if he doesn't end up with an A.
theres no need to drop it, u can ignore the a2 on ucas on only put the as grade if 'he' wud prefer... i think
If he's gone through with C4 and C3 he's stuck with A2 grade i think. So either get as high an A2 mark or risk getting a low A2 mark because he's gone and lost 100 UMS from 480
