Open days and virtual events

We'd love to welcome you to an open day to find out whether the University of Nottingham is right for you. You can meet with current students, discover more about your course, tour our award-winning campuses and get a feel for our accommodation options.

Our open days for September 2025 entry for most of our courses will take place on:

Courses and fees

Our students enjoy the freedom to tailor their degrees to suit their interests, as most of our courses have optional modules.

Interested in studying abroad? We offer a range of options with our two international campuses and 40 global partners. From one week to one semester, there's something to suit everyone.

For UK home students, 2024/5 tuition fees for full-time undergraduate courses are set at £9,250 per year. International and EU students pay between £21,500 and £35,750 depending on the course you study.

The academic year runs September to June. The below term and semester dates relate to the general teaching and examination periods at the university. Dates may differ for some programmes of study.

  • Spring Term: Monday 13 January 2025 – Friday 28 March 2025
  • Summer Term: Monday 28 April 2025 - Friday 20 June 2025*

*This denotes the end of teaching. This will not be the case for all students, and many postgraduate students will remain in term-time and be required to conduct research over the summer period. Students are advised to check their course structure and end date with their personal tutor.

Halls of residence are on or close to our campuses, have 24-hour security and wardens available day and night.
