PSP

So I have a really old psp from about 5/6/ years ago (it might be older, im not sure!)
What I wanted to know was whether I can buy any game that is labelled as psp and it should work?

Yes it should work. All the models of PSP run the same games (except the PSP Go because it doesn't have a disc drive, but I assume that's not what yours is).

You can go for PSP without any confusion.

No, the PS Vita is a completely new device, a considerable upgrade from the PSP - so Vita games will not work on a PSP, The converse isn't necessarily true - many PSP games downloaded from the PlayStation Store will work on a PS Vita..

There are some stores that wilkl sell PSP games, though in many cases those will be pre-owned (second hand) copies - for example, CeX or Game. However, is there a reason why you'd need to buy the game from a physical store rather than online?
