A Level physics: Vectors help!!!!

STU is a triangle, where ST=4a and UT = 3b -a. Point M is the midpoint of line ST and point P divides line SU in the ratio 3:1. Find the vector PM in terms of a and b.

PM=PU+UT-ST/2
I know that PU=UL, in terms of length but i cant find what PU is can someone explain me how i do that please?

Ok so PM is -3/4SU + 1/2ST

ST = 4a
SU = ST -TU = 4a -(3b-a) = 5a - 3b

PM = -3/4(5a-3b) + 1/2(4a) = -15/4(a) -9/4 (b) + 2a

PM = 23/4 (a) - 9/4(b)
