A level Physics Capacitance question (4)

For Question Aii. I understand how to get the answer using the alternative method on the mark scheme but I don’t get the logic behind the first line ‘since Vc was 4.4v after 60s, when t=30s Vc=2.2v’ why is that true ?E056471A-309D-4497-B191-09606EA770B5.jpeg

C=Q/V
Q=I*t
C=I*t/V
CV/I=t
C and I are constant, so if t halves, V halves
