Thoughts and reasons?

I prefer OCR - I take OCR Computing and OCR ICT. The content in the specifications is clear and non-ambiguous. The questions are also quite clear I find in their exam papers, as they want a certain way of solving them.

AQA is alright too. I don't do any Edexcel or WJEC exams so I can't comment on those.
I dislike all of them because they make me sad.

I was expecting some people to hate AQA because of the calamity that was their Biology exam. *cough* cannabis and rats *cough* (If they did the exam and was flabbergasted at the end)
Not the massivest edexcel fan

Spoiler

i prefer edexcel, i much prefer their layout of the exams and the style of them-they also have a lot of resources for revision where as i find that OCR and AQA dont as much, WJEC is terrible

Dislike:
CIE because it's obstructive and uncooperative with queries.
OCR because from my experience they word their questions terribly.
Edexcel because their marking is dodgy and they sometimes take money for a remark without actually remarking the paper (in my experience).

Like:
AQA because it's pretty straightforward and they do at least remark your papers.

Dislike OCR because they're bad at stapling papers and have a terrible website.

Like AQA because they seem to make resources the most accessible.

Edexcel's exams are okay but I dislike that they represent the commercialisation of A-level examinations.

ocr bc they never release their latest past papers till august (after the exam)
if you use extra paper there is no whole punch either so you can't tag your work in
A level, but eh...

AQA - best format imo and best resources, especially for geography and biology. Sometimes, their wording is a bit... off.
Edexcel - they're OK, but not a huge fan of chemistry. The format of the papers is good, but there seems to be a slight lack of resources (like no official textbook for the course? Never got given one).
OCR - the worst exam board. Had them for maths and the paper was weird. Looks fairly old style too.

I did have WJEC for GCSE English, but don't really have an opinion.
I had a classmate who would threaten to send hate mail to OCR every morning of the controlled assessment, when it turned out our teacher was on the exam board.

AQA I love because they have a few common sense questions, meaning less revision, and also because they have slightly challengiing questions which are fun to do and also mean lower grade bounadries. Hate OCR because they have dodgy questions and also too high grade bounadries in most subjects (hence, they should be making the tests harder). Edexcel is okay, because their maths papers are easy and that's all I do with them. Also absolutely hate WJEC for their consistently high 90% grade bounadries and silly tests.
I like edexcel iGCSE and I dislike WJEC. But I think that might just be because of the different subjects i do from them.
I like Edexcel. It's the easiest.

For some reason I find it oddly reassuring that the layout of A level Edexcel papers look just like their GCSE counterparts... no pink answer booklets to be seen anywhere, at least not in my subjects...

Heh, well that's what I thought and they still awarded me an E for a paper my teachers got back and said was worth an A grade.
Edexcel because the people who take any subject on Edexcel NEVER STOP WHINING!

Hate OCR. They marked my biology coursework down from a low A to a mid C and that prevented me from getting my A* in bio.

What?! Did they incorrectly mark it or was your teacher wrong?
