Im Looking into this as well. My subjects are Maths, Economics, Politics and Geography. Good choices for PPE?

Hey

I'm in year 11 and thinking towards the future...

I aspire to study PPE at hopefully Oxford but obviously thats still a long way away. I would appreciate some advice on my post-16 option that would be good for PPE. I'm thinking of taking:

Mathematics (Cambridge pre-u)
Economics (Cambridge pre-u)
Further Mathematics (Cambridge pre-u)
Government & Politics (OCR)

Are those appropriate subject choices? :confused:

Also, is work experience important for PPE? I've already done 2 weeks work experience in Year 10 working for a parliamentary researcher and my MP at the House of Commons. Also, I worked one week with my dad's accountant. What do you think of my present work history? :confused:

Do you have any other suggestions?

I've just got an offer for PPE at Oxford and am doing History, Philosophy, Economics and Maths A levels.

That's just what I'm doing though, and loads of people get in with completely different subjects.

What did you get for GCSES?

2A*, 5 A's and 3 B's, In double science and spanish. And a distinction in ICT, equivalent to two A*

I have other qualifications that I think may help me.
