Yes, in fact I think it is recommended by pretty much whoever you ask.

I was under the impression that if you were meant to go on the Sunday you couldn't go on the Saturday?

I may have just completely made that up though.....

I just tried the first page of the differentiation thing.

Apparently, 1/x doesn't differentiate to lnx.

I'm gonna have to do a bit of work to remember all this crap.

Fromt the look of the tests you wont even need to revise/worry.

Anyone else been sent the booklet from the maths department yet? It has past "Mathematics Techniques" papers and a bunch of questions from Bostock and Chandler by the look of it.

Doesn't look very interesting in terms of difficulty from my quick skim read, but seems like a decent recap, which I suppose is it's job.

Yeh I got that pack this morning it doesn't look too bad, just recap over it all. Do you reckon it will just be maths a level stuff? or Further maths stuff too?

Ugh I Know that kinda sucks, right in the middle of freshers week!

Are you joking?

1/x differentiates to -1/(x^2). It integrates to lnx.

Warwick doesn't have an official freshers week, that is why. Of course the Su runs events and stuff though.

Yeah I know that know (and I knew that before), but even 3 months without maths and my mind does crazy things.

LOL, I know what you mean.

Sorry if I came across as an ass.
If you've got absolutely nothing better to do, here's a document you probably won't be interested in

From the Maths book:

Integrate tan2x (HINT: use sec2x + tan2x =1 and note that the derivative of tan x is sec2x.)

Hope everything's this easy :yep:

(Hi everyone btw - don't think I've posted here before).
