Durham, LSE, Bristol, Lancaster and Exeter. I don't think I've got any offers yet. It starts to be a bit worrying!
Dont worry, they are really good unis they may take a while to reply, might even have to wait after Jan =/ I havent heard anything from LSE either lol XD
Did it say what the conditions were? It might be asking for a copy of your results or something. If not definitely email them
It said 300 points from at least 2 A Levels, I have 4 A Levels with a total of 320 points. I am resitting a few modules so I thought it could be that, but even (I hope not) if my grades don't improve I'll still stay on 320?! I've sent them an email so I'll see what they say
Just got an offer from loughborough! also have offers from swansea and Glamorgan
Congrats on your offer! when did u send it off and what are your AS grades/A2 predicted grades because I've applied to both loughborough and Swansea, heard nothing back yet therefore PANIC is setting in!
Thank you I applied late october, swansea replied in a week and Loughborough replied on like the tenth of november. My As grades are BBD and my predicted grades are ABB
Hope you get your offers soon, i wouldnt think it would be too much longer
Turns out although I already have 320 points and their offer is for 300 points, because I'm retaking and therefore have pending results it has to be conditional offer rather than unconditional :/ Really though it's unconditional, cause even if I don't improve any of my grades then I already have the point score so yeah
Surprised to see so many BA applicants! I am studying Geography, Biology and Environmental Science at A level Applying for Bsc; Lancaster Leeds Liverpool Newcastle Sheffield Have conditional offers from Lancaster (ABB) Leeds (AAB) and Liverpool (ABB) Was surprised to get the ABB offer from Lancaster, ucas said it would be AAB
Hey well done on your offers! How long did it take Leeds and Liverpool to reply?
Yaaayy fellow geographers I'm applying to do Geography BA at: Manchester Edinburgh LSE Lancaster Northumbria (back-up) Already got offers from Manchester and Northumbria I've had a bit of trouble with my application (my predicted grades were marked down wrong - nightmare!) so still trying to sort that out! Good luck everyone!
Well done on your offers! how long did it take manchester to reply?
I don't think Durham have given out offers for a single subject yet to applicants who haven't completed their A levels
Nope, not yet, although the website said the decision will be made 'within 8 weeks' so I'm getting just a little bit nervous!
It's so annoying because I've applied to both of them yet they haven't given out any offers yet, whereas my friends are applying for more science-based subjects in other unis and they receive offers very quickly.
Pleased that I got an offer from Lancaster for BA Geography quite early though.
