sensible answer

there's a lot of muddying of the waters

it;'s easy to say that Doctors, Diagnose , prescribe and perform procedures

and that Nurses Assess, Monitor and look after Acitivties of daily living and things like fluid balance

but that's far to simple a model and can easily be countered by valid examples of parts of medical practice which are more more concerned with monitoring and managing things like fluid balances, ad aspects of Nursing practice which are diagnostic and or about doing procedures ...

what does an anaesthetist (a Doctor ) do with his/her patient when they are anaesthetised - monitor, assess, look after fluid balance , urine output etc etc

what does a triage nurse in the ED / minor injuries do when they triage, order investigations and then later (after the patient has been reviewed and their diagnosis confirmed by a Doctor or NP ) performs a procedure such as closing a wound or applying a Plaster cast ...

there are aspects of healthcare which are the same regardless of who does them

the initial assessment and management of someone with difficulty breathing is going to be very similar regardless of Nurse, Doctor, Paramedic, ODP or Physio as initial responder.

the money?
