Got a place on physics and philosophy at Oxford, and would rather be doing straight physics with hindsight. Plus I have a lot of friends studying in London and love the city, and have had nothing but brilliant experiences with all of the staff there, whilst found the Oxford staff rather rude!

I thought I got a offer including 4 subjects because I wasn't going to do STEP, now really confused about how they decide on the conditions for the offers:confused:

well i do only three subjects, but i think imperial should include STEP as part of their offer (considering how hard their courses are)

Course: G103 Mathematics
GCSEs: A*AAAAABB
AS: AAAC (Maths, FMaths, Physics, History in that order)
Terms of offer: A*A*A (Maths, FMaths, Physics) with grade 2 in STEP II or III.

Pleased about gaining an offer but am increasingly becoming worried about passing STEP II. Does anyone know how unlikely it is that they would admit someone who acheived/surpassed their A-level offer but slightly missed the requested STEP grade?

Regardless, I have firmed this offer, with Warwick as insurance which is the same offer but accepts AEA Dist. in place of grade 2 STEP, considering the AEA is a piece of piss in comparison it makes for a smart backup IMO.

Hi all!
For those who have had an offer:
Do they ask you to send your original transcripts? I lost the papers and so in case I have to return to my university (far from my city) to get a copy... And when does one have to provide them by? September enrollment or soon after receiving a conditional offer?
Thanks!

It depends on how you applied - if you applied through a system such as UCAS, then the information is already held by college and you don't have to do anything. As you have mentioned being at another university, it sounds like you will have to bring in either some certificates or transcripts. I believe most people send/hand in their paperwork after getting an offer.
