PwC ACA or Grant Thornton ICAS?

I have 2 offers but finding it difficult to decide between the two. This is not a bragging thread, i've been rejected by over 200 companies and somehow got lucky with these firms.

I have exemptions from the first year of ICAS exams but no exemptions for ACA.

Does anyone have any pros & cons about either of these companies?

thanks for any replies guys

i'd always take a big four firm over a mid tier firm. Better pay, better name on your cv, better clients etc etc

PWC. No competition really.

I would ignore the ICAS exemptions when making your decision; as you will still need to pass the mock exams for the exemptions to be honoured by ICAS.

Are the offers both same location? what about service line?

If I were in your shoes (I wish), like others have adviced, I would have definitely gone for PwC. Also, I recently attended an event by ICAEW (the professional body for ACAs) and they said even if you have exemptions, you should still re take the exams, as statistics show students who start all over again perform better.

If you don't mind me asking, are you doing this as a part of your sandwich placement or are you already a graduate?
