No. At least it's very rare that it does..
But at the same time, you have that first year for a reason so make sure you know 'everything' they teach you.

Generally, no. However, it's a good indicator of how well you are likely to cope and if this is the degree path for you. Remember you still have to pass the exams. :smile:

No, but you need to pass to be able to go into second year :smile:

Actually depends on your course, there's no University-wide policy. 1st year counts for me.
