Tariff Points and University Acceptance Worry!

Hi,

I've applied to do a psychology course and the tariff requirements are 280-300 points. I've been given a conditional offer even though i'm predicted around 250 points.

My question is, what are the chances of being accepted by this uni if i achieve only 250 points? And have i only been given this offer in the hope i will achieve 280-300 points?

Please help! Really concerned!

Well yeah, that's what a conditional is.. you've been given the offer in the hope that's what you'll achieve because it proves you'll be able to keep up with the standards of work the university gives you. It depends on the university and how many places they have on how lenient they are if you miss the offer. What type of qualifications are you doing?
