Young man stressed over Uni!

First of all, I'd like to apologise as I'm sure this has been poster numerous times!

I'm a Scottish student, and am roughly 6 months through my Int 2 course (chemistry physics biology and english, with maths being a two year higher course (will be working the int 2 course while doing the higher work so that it is still all sat in 1 year.))

Last year I sat my standard grades - we sat them a year early, and my results were reasonably poor. I achieved two 1s, one A, two 2s and three 3s. (Maths, English, Chemistry and french being the credit grades)

Now my question is: what are the chances of being accepted into a medicine/similiarly competetive course, assuming my int 2s/highers/advanced highers are all A band 1s? Which they will be, no doubt about it.

This is also assuming that I do appropriate volunteering and excel in the interview also!

Any questions would be greatly appreciated
, thank yous very much!

My standard grades weren't that great either. I think it really depends if you redeem yourself or not in your highers
