Research about games

Welcome everybody,
I take part in online course about building mobile applications. I need to do a small research which could allow me to hit on some ideas so i will be very grateful for answers to my questions. It's really imoprtant to me.

1. How often do you play board games, logic games or strategy games (e.g. chess, scrabble, solving rubik's cube, etc.)?

2. Please describe the last time when you were playing logic games or when you were solving puzlle, crosswords, riddles etc. (without using a phone). Did you do it alone or with your friends?

3. What kinds of games do you play on your phone? You can also give the names of your favourite games.

4. How often do you play games on your phone? How much time do you spend playing at a time?

5.Please describe the last time when you played game on your phone.

6. When do you play games on your phone? (e.g. while going to school/work, relaxing at home etc.)

I play Scrabble frequently (everyday) on my iPad.

Scrabble, which is my favourite

Not often at all

Last year, when I download and beat Clay Jam over the course of the summer

Hardly ever, usually only on a very long journey

I play 2048 once or twice a week if that counts as a logic game

Errrr... without using a phone was a very long time ago!

Puzzles, mainly 2048

Once or twice a week, maybe for 20 minutes

It was late at night on a cold, washed out winter's day. Not sure what you mean! :lol:

Before bed or on the loo

Thank you guys! Your answers are really helpful. I wanted to have some details from at least 7 people and i achieved the goal but the more answers the better for me so thank you Mikey that you have moved my thread. By the way english is not my native language so sorry for errors.

In regards to on my phone I play on average about once a week but in regards to actual board games I play just at Christmas and New Year now with the family.

The last time was over a year ago when I used to do a lot of Sudoku, I would do it alone usually just before bed or when I was travelling. I used to really enjoy problem solving games and didn't have a phone at the time.

Playing Flick Golf at the moment, still occasional play Candy Crush and Hungry Shark, which I would say are all strategy and problem solving games.

4. How often do you play games on your phone? How much time do you spend playing at a time?
Not often, maybe once a week on average, usually use other applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and listen to music.

The last time was when I was travelling between Glasgow and Dundee, I played flick golf, which is a simple game where you swipe your finger across the screen to get the ball in the hole.

Mostly when I'm bored, sometimes during lectures but usually at home or travelling.
