What grading do you prefer? 1-9? OR A*-U? And why?
Thank youu!
I prefer A*-U, however (if I'm not mistaken) in primary school they're graded in numbers. Even just before starting GCSE's in secondary school it is numbers.
So it makes sense continuing the numbers until Uni where we use % (also numbers) until you finish a Module and then say 'I got a first' or 2:1, 2:2 etc.
Is the number system being used to allow employers and universities to further distinguish between students? E.g. A*-A vs. 9, 8.9, 8.8, 8.7, 8.6 etc. I personally like the letter system.
Numbers are better. Some people think A isn't all that high but saying I got like 6 8s rather than 6 AS, shows more easily which side of the spectrum you are on.
