I found my current job through Gumtree, but a lot of the postings are chaff.

Mostly sector specific ones and I go directly to websites too.

First job was applying through local recruitment agency.
Second job was through Indeed and redirected to Reed.
Third job - got headhunted by another recruitment agency that is miles away from home (I live in West Midlands - agency is in London), but placed me on a job that was 10 minutes from home.
My current job was through Indeed and redirected to Universal Job Match.

Indeed is all you should need.

My job hunt changed dramatically for the better once I stated using Indeed. Got a good few interviews and even my current job through that site.
