Financial Journalism Training

Hey guys,

I've been studying journalism for a number of years now and have acquired quite a good CV. But with graduation next year and the job adverts I see posted it is quite easy to see that getting my dream job straightaway is not going to be an option. Many vacancies demand that you have at least three years under your belt before you apply except for the many (and I mean MANY) financial journalism jobs.

I'm a bit crap with money and I don't know my Nasdaq from my FTSE and I was just wondering where you'd go to learn such things.

I'm currently working at the Journalist (The NUJ paper) and I've had every single thing I wrote published, barely a word changed and I've been paid for each one so I know I'm a good journalist.

Any short courses or websites I can use to train myself so I can improve my job prospects.

Thanks in advance!
