Iceland won, how disappointing.

Hot springs, Aurora Borealis, Vikings, elves, Sigur Ros, strong men, Game of Thrones and better footballers than England. Right, who is up for migrating to Iceland?

I love Iceland and am very happy for them. England suck.

I disagree because a larger population gives more choice and more options when finding footballers especially in a country like England.

It SHOULD but NOT with EPL hiring foreigners all the time!?
Say this same thing you just said to Japan as well
sometimes with TOO many ppl you have to ignore a lot of potentially good players, lots of benchwarming, training being spread thin, and more about the franchise than the skills

Sarcasm I hope?

huh???

I'm not insulting the country, just the football team :mmm:

One minute you're crying and weeping for england because we left, now you're celebrating its players being defeated? This isn't a good nor mature way to better this country. Or its football.

That you're disgusted he rooted for Iceland.
Don't worry we should be used to getting kicked out of euro by now.
Good job iceland
Cheer up England fans, it's not like you wanted to be in Europe anyway 😄😄

Iceland has like 500,000 population while England has like 64 Million.....

England should be at least 200 times better at getting a better team together.

This is a real let down.

Exactly, I had a really strong feeling that they would lose.

Why would I be sarcastic that a brit is celebrating another country's victory?

oh get a grip, it's a game
all my welsh friends are happy

What we need is a foreign manager who know's what to do and is not afraid of picking players of not picking players from the dominant english clubs. Look what Eddie Jones did for English rugby, we need some of that in our football

the Iceland boys get paid 1000 króna per match and a stone of herring. they are hungry for success, not like the bloated millionaire playboys who are chauffered around to play for England.
All this net banter against UK and EPL but if you lads said what you're typing to any one of these blokes in here now watching the game you'd get slaughtered. Easy does it with the self hatred.

- Hodsgon wont be sacked
- The same players will be picked for future tournaments
- Nothing will change
- The cycle shall repeat.
