Teaching

Hi guys.. I'm currently employed but it's not what I want to do as a career.
I'm thinking of getting in to teaching.. (primary schools) but I'm not really sure how to..
I haven't been to university or anything. I'd like some know how on how I can get to teaching.. I'm currently living in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

Kind regards
Adam

There are two ways to qualify to be a primary teacher, the first is undergraduate and the second is to do a degree and then qualify as a postgraduate.

To qualify as an undergraduate you apply to university to study primary education (with qts).

To qualify as a post-graduate there are a huge number of options, these include: the 'traditional pgce', Teach First, SCITT, salaried, and loads more.

If you know you want to be a primary teacher then the easiest/quickest way would be to do an undergraduate degree in primary teaching.
