Extra curriculars for Investment Banking

Hey peeps, quick question.

Is being president or on the committee of a society unrelated to investment banking still useful or no? For example, president of a religious society or of a business consultancy society

Btw I go to a non target uni and am in first year if that makes any difference. I have applied to spring weeks and just looking to strengthen my application for summer internships next year
