Choosing seperate sciences can also be seen as a fourth choice as you get 3 GCSES (not 2) from it

High five for French GCSE being difficult even when you speak it fluently - the writing bit is hard

Ah sorry!

Did you still have the experience where you write a nice paragraph about your holiday and get told it’s capped at B because you only used 5 verb tenses? Or was that just me

I don't know, I did it off-timetable and didn't really have any lessons. I dropped a fair few marks in one of my controlled assessments but I don't know which

No, my school only let us do 3 options so I could only do business, geog and french

They also didn't teach RE at my school or I probably would've done that too.

I always feel a bit silly tho since all people on TSR all seem to have like 10+ GCSEs

Fair enough. I did two past papers with a teacher and then they signed me off, so a similar sort of thing really.

Yeah I'm never quite sure how they timetable 12 GCSEs at once. I didn't do all of mine in the same exam season, most people at my school took 9 GCSEs

Me neither.. I had a full timetable with my 9 in Y10 and then 8 in Y11 (did business early)

I'm annoyed at my school cos I could've done GCSE Statistics in Y10 but I wasn't allowed because I was on a different timetable and I'm also annoyed at myself cos I turned down doing Further Maths which with what's happened to GCSEs, could've been quite good  ... Ohh well the grades matter more anyway I suppose :dontknow:

You big brained! may I ask how you revised to get such amazing grades??
Hardest

- English Literature (Getting quotes takes long as + writing essays is so boring for me)
- English Language (Only cause of the creative writing in Paper 1)
- History (Only cause of the bloody Elizabeth topic which was organised so weirdly)
- DT (The NEA was fine but the exam itself has some weird questions + lotssss of content that is just pure memorisation)
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Physics + Maths + Further Maths (Physics is just Maths tbh and imo Further Maths is easier cause there's so little content)
- French + Spanish (Native Speaker)

Easiest
